Although the new Maryland Live! casino is not slated to open for business until June 6th, the property has already launched a virtual casino where visitors can try their hand at casino games. The new site at MyLiveOnlineCasino.com is a free-to-play website with no real money gaming supported.
With the launch of this site, Maryland Live! says they have “the first play-for-fun online gaming domain to be branded and integrated with an existing gaming property’s casino management system.” The site offers slots and table games as well as poker and skill games. Users receive $2500 in virtual credits for signing up, and also get an extra $500 in virtual cash each day that they log in.
The software behind the site is provided by the well-known Australian gambling supplier Aristocrat.
Visitors to the site can also pre-register for a players card for the land-based property which is slated for a grand opening on June 6th at 10 pm. When all phases of construction are complete, the casino in Arundel Mills Maryland “‘will represent the third largest commercial casino in the United States”, according to Joe Weinberg, managing partner of developer The Cordish Companies.
